Scheme – Council estate. ‘She stays up the scheme’

Provie Wumin – The lady who collects payments for Provident lending company. ‘Get doon fae the windae, the provie wumin’s at the door!’

Icey or Van – Ice cream van. ‘Go n’ get me 10 fags at the van, hen!’

Hum dingin’ – Very smelly. ‘His feet are hum dingin”

Mink – A dirty person. ‘Ya wee mink!’

Nae Danger – Not a chance. ‘Nae danger am a gettin’ oot ma bed the day!’

Scudder – Total embarrassment. ‘Your a pure scudder!’

Heehaw – Nothing at all. ‘Am dain heehaw the day!’

Blootered – Very drunk. ‘Let’s get blootered!’

Glaikit – Not very clever. ‘She’s a glaikit wee lassy!’

Bawbag – A ball sack, but also a term of endearment. ‘Orite ya bawbag, how ye dain?’

Wideo – Someone who betrays you. ‘That pal ae’ yours is a pure wideo!’

Gallus – Cool, badass. ‘This shop is Pure Dead Gallus!’

Jobbie – A shit. ‘A pure need a jobbie man!’
